8. Alcohol and Heavy Item Delivery Policy

8.1 Scope
8.1.1 This Policy applies to all Orders placed with Mauritian Groceries that include Alcohol and/or heavy Food and Drink Items.

8.2 Weight Restrictions and Surcharges
8.2.1 Orders with a total weight exceeding ten kilograms (10kg) , including Alcohol and/or Food and Drink Items, shall be subject to a Surcharge.
8.2.2 Free Delivery and Promotional Offers apply only to Orders with a total weight of 10kg or less .
8.2.3 Alcohol purchases with a combined weight not exceeding 10kg shall be included in applicable Offers. Alcohol purchases exceeding 10kg shall incur a Surcharge, for which the Customer shall be notified and payment must be received prior to dispatch.

8.5 Compliance with Legislation
8.5.1 The sale and delivery of Alcohol by Mauritian Groceries shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 and any other applicable legislation.
8.5.2 The Customer agrees not to purchase Alcohol from Mauritian Groceries for resale, for supply to persons under the age of 18, or for any unlawful purpose.

8.6 General
8.6.1 All Free Delivery Services, Promotional Offers, and Alcohol sales are subject to this Alcohol and Heavy Item Delivery Policy and form part of Mauritian Groceries’s general Terms and Conditions of Sale .
